Our theme for this term is 'Discover the Past'. For the first 2 weeks we are Discovering Extinct Animals. We got into pairs with someone that we hadn't worked with before. We found out about the Haast's Eagle, a bird that lived in New Zealand but became extinct about 500 years ago. We worked together to gather information about the Haast's Eagle and present it on a Google Slide. Next week, we will be able to choose our own Extinct Animal to find out about.

We have Daiminn from Turanga Health coming every Tuesday this term to teach us all of the skills we need to play Ki-o-Rahi, which is a little bit like Rippa Rugby. We will enter in a tournament to play against other schools at the end of the term.
