Gymnastics Festival

We entered a team in the Rhythmic Gymnastics section at the Gisborne Gymnastics Festival.  We had a 3 minute routine that we had to learn and practice.  It was made up of a medley of songs and included shuffling, line dancing and the macarena! It was tricky to get everyone moving in time with each other and the music.  We came first in our section - tau kē!

  1. Dear Rimu,
how exciting to come first in your section. That is a great achievement. How often did you practise for this performance? Did anyone video your performance. I would love to see your winning dance if they did.

    1. Dear Mrs Torrie,
We practised every day for about 4 weeks. Theo's Mum did video the performance, but she hasn't sent it to Mrs Parsons yet.
