Today with Mrs Torrie, we talked about what to do if someone is not being nice online. Be an Upstander and do something about it. Ask them to stop, take a screenshot and email it to 3 trusted adults. We had a practice screenshotting and emailing these during our session. All of our learners now know how to do this.

Animating our Cybersmart Character
Today Mrs Torrie showed us how to animate our Cybersmart Characters that we created last week. We had to make multiple copies of our slides and adjust each one slightly so that when they play together it looks like our Characters are moving. We were so engaged in this task and they look really great! Here is Braiden's work below...

Te Wiki ō Te Reo Māori
Matua Steve has been teaching us a new waiata this week and we have been learning new kupu and wero each day. Today we also had a whānau group morning of activities - from Myths and Legends about Taniwhā to Kōwhai painting, weaving and colours. We had a lot of fun! Another chance for our tuakana-teina bonds to strengthen.

Cybersmart Character
For the last 2 weeks we have been creating a Cybersmart character to give people positive messages about being Cybersmart. We worked in pairs and we had to use comments to communicate with our buddy. Most of us used shapes to make our Cybersmart character. We gave our character a name and we thought about the messages we wanted them to say. We wanted our messages to be positive and tell people what they should do.
